Playing the right golf ball is essential to playing your best and getting the highest level of performance out of your equipment. When modern golf balls go through the finishing process, excess can pool in the bottom of the dimples, that can lead to an uneven finish which in turn results in inconsistent performance. However, microcoating ensures an ultrathin, even application of paint over ball's entire surface. The result is a more consistent ball flight, dependable distance, and tight left-to-right dispersion.
Built on the success and feedback from the best Team TaylorMade athletes in the world, the TP5x is designed to deliver unparalleled low spin and distance off the tee and world-class feel and control around the green where you need it most.
The reengineered Speed Wrapped Core limits spin and maximizes ball speed on full shots at the top end of your bag. At the same time, the Speed Wrapped Core and new mantle layer composition help fine-tune spin throughout the flight.

While the TP5 remains our softest Tour ball, it's now faster than it's ever been. The TP5 employs our largest Tour core which decreases contact time with the clubface at impact and results in faster ball speeds on full swings.

Compared to previous generations, the new model features a longer centerline and additional color contrast, offering golfers easier alignment and more precise feedback on the green.
All-new Tour Response™ golf balls have arrived in 2026. Just like TP5 and TP5x, these balls feature revolutionary microcoating. This advanced technology promotes consistent peak height performance, reliable distance, and tight left-to-right dispersion from tee to green. Microcoating brings Tour-level consistency to a ball designed to help you play better golf.
All Tour Response balls have a 100% cast urethane cover that provides added spin and greenside control. The softer material allows wedge grooves to grip the ball for enhanced spin while also maintaining durability.
Tour Response balls also incorporate the Speed Wrapped Core which reduces its density and in turn dampens the sound and fosters faster ball speed and increased distance. At the same time, a compression of 70 produces an exceptionally soft feel you need for control on short shots.
