TaylorMade Gear

Ask golfers of any ability and they’ll tell you that fairway woods and hybrids are some of the most important clubs in their bag. Not only are they easier to hit than the butterknife long irons of yesteryear, they provide added versatility and playability from the tee and out of almost any lie.

With the introduction of Qi35 fairway woods and hybrids, we’ve taken proven TaylorMade technologies, new design concepts, and unlocked another level of performance.

Let’s dive in for a closer look at the fairway wood and hybrid selections in the Qi35 lineup.

Qi35 FAIRWAY WOODS

There’s a reason TaylorMade fairway woods continue to be the most played on the PGA TOUR. It’s because the technology they incorporate delivers unparalleled performance. Qi35 fairways woods utilize Twist Face™, Thru-Slot Speed Pocket™, an Infinity Carbon Crown and multi-material construction to deliver unparalleled distance and forgiveness.

Like never before, Qi35 fairway woods can be tailored to fit your individual swing. All 3- and 5-woods as well as the Qi35 Tour 7-wood come with a 4° loft sleeve that allows you to dial in distance, flight and shot shape.

“We want to be the leaders in fit. For this year, the question became how can we put loft sleeves in fairway woods without losing face performance? After years of research and testing, we were able to incorporate 4° loft sleeves into all our 3-woods and 5-woods. With Qi35 fairway woods, we’ve elevated the fitting experience and given golfers the chance to truly optimize their distance, flight and face angle.”

Whether you’re brand new to golf or have been playing your entire life, there’s a good chance you stand to benefit from Qi35 fairway woods. The CG location has been optimized to help you realize faster ball speeds for exceptional distance, while at the same time maintaining high MOI for the forgiveness you need when you don’t catch the exact center of the face.

Qi35 heads have a TSS weight that’s positioned toward the front of the clubhead. This allowed our engineers and design team to optimize mass throughout the head and customize swing weighting during assembly. Coupled with a 4° loft sleeve in 3-, 3HL and 5-woods, and there are plenty of fitting and customization options.

If you’re looking for maximum forgiveness, Qi35 Max fairway woods are your best bet. They feature the largest head in the Qi35 family at 200cc. The inviting profile and high MOI properties help you achieve optimal launch from any lie.

Like Qi35, Qi35 Max fairway woods feature a TSS weight. The difference is that the weight in the Qi35 Max is located near the back of the club. This serves to further enhance forgiveness, tighten downrange dispersion, and promote easy launch.

Similar to Qi35 as well, Qi35 Max comes with 4° loft sleeves in the 3 and 5-woods. The 7 and 9-woods are bonded.

If you’re an elite level player that prefers a smaller head profile and prioritizes workability and customization, Qi35 Tour fairway woods are for you.

Qi35 Tour comes equipped with a 40g sliding weight that you can move back to tighten dispersion or forward to increase distance. Even more, you can flip the asymmetric weight 180° which effectively doubles the number of adjustability options. Coupled with a 4° loft sleeve, Qi35 Tour allows you to meticulously dial in your distance, flight and shot shape.

Maybe the perfect fairway wood for you is one that’s a little on the lighter side and allows you to maximize your club head speed. If so, the Qi35 Max Lite is right up your alley. Just like the Qi35 Max, the Max Lite features an ultra-forgiving 200cc head that inspires confidence at address.

By taking weight out of the head, shaft and grip, the Qi35 Max Lite has an ultralight design that gives you the ideal combination of easy launch, maximum forgiveness and consistent performance you need at the top end of your bag.

Just like Qi35 Max, Qi35 Max Lite 3- and 5-woods come with a 4° loft sleeve to help you dial in your specs. The 7-wood is bonded.
