After already locking up the 2024 Rolex Player of the Year Award, Nelly Korda added her seventh win of the season this weekend at The ANNIKA. In Nelly fashion, she erased what was a six-shot deficit in the third round and stayed patient throughout the final round to outrun a crowded leaderboard with a final round 67.
Nelly began her run on the 11th hole when she made five straight birdies to go from two shots back to two shots in front. With her Spider Tour X L-Neck, Nelly one putted holes 11-16. Her driving was equally accurate as she missed just one fairway in the final round with her Qi10 Max driver.
In historical context, Nelly is now the first American since 1990 to win 7+ times in a season. She is also just the third player in LPGA Tour history to have a season with 6+ wins, a victory in the Solheim Cup, and earn Player of the Year honors. Even more, earlier this season, Nelly became the third player ever to win five consecutive tournaments on the LPGA Tour.
Simply put, Nelly's 2024 season is one for the record books.

Ahead of the AIG Women's Open at St. Andrews, Nelly requested to test a few Spider models prior her arrival. Our Tour team in Europe, then built another model at our Carlsbad HQ and shipped it to Scotland prior to her practice rounds beginning. Nelly chose that short sight line model amongst that batch, put in through the paces in practice and has played it since. The stability and consistency of strikes, especially on mis-hits, is why Nelly chose the Spider over her previous blade gamer.
