Introducing Kalea Gold | For Women, By Women
Building on the groundbreaking design of Kalea Premier, every piece of equipment in Kalea Gold was designed with premium components and proven TaylorMade technologies to help women of all abilities play better golf. No matter if they’re learning the game or vying for their Club Championship, Kalea Gold elevates the experience for women golfers from tee to green.

DESIGNED FOR WOMEN, BY WOMEN
From the very beginning we knew that garnering feedback from women of all golfing backgrounds was going to be the genesis in the creation of the Kalea Gold line. So, we got to work gathering input from four distinct cohorts of women golfers.
The first was our TaylorMade Women’s Advisory Board. This group is comprised of the most talented and forward-thinking female minds in the game. Their expertise covers a broad spectrum within the golf industry including teaching, club fitting and psychology.
For the second group, we decided to look inward. It only made sense as our female TaylorMade employees are the ones with their hands on our products every day. Collectively, they make up the TaylorMade Women’s Golf and Social Club. From commenting on the colors of the bags to which grips we put on clubs, this enthusiastic group of women played a pivotal role in the evolution of Kalea Gold.
We then solicited feedback from targeted data-driven and perception test panels as well as online reviews from Kalea Premier. These groups provided us with insightful feedback on what we did well with Kalea Premier, and what we could do better with Kalea Gold.
Once the data from each cohort of women was gathered, we analyzed their feedback and there were two key principals that stood out: women cared about cosmetics and performance above all else. From an aesthetic standpoint, women were looking for something different than the soft pastel colors that have been characteristic of women’s golf clubs for far too long. Instead, they opted for colors that were both feminine and elegant – hence Kalea Gold’s white, blue and gold colorways.
When it came to performance, they prioritized Kalea Gold’s light weight, forgiveness and overall elevated performance.
At the top of the bag sits the Kalea Gold driver. This club’s Carbonwood™ construction allows for mass to be strategically placed throughout the clubhead in spots where it increases energy transfer, optimizes launch, and provides forgiveness and stability at the same time.
Through precise mass optimization, we were able to design the Kalea Gold driver with the additions of a 2° loft sleeve and a TSS weight which allows for precision tuning.
Just like the driver, Kalea Gold fairway woods feature a carbon-wrapped crown that’s lightweight and inspires confidence in the playing position. The use of carbon in Kalea Gold fairways allows for optimized mass placement and therefore enhances launch, ball speed and forgiveness.
Proven TaylorMade technologies make themselves known again in Kalea Gold Rescue™. These clubs utilize both a Speed Pocket and an Inverted Cone face that aid in launch and spin while allowing for maximum forgiveness.
Cap Back™ Design and the Speed Pocket work in tandem to enhance launch and maximize forgiveness in the Kalea Gold irons. The ECHO® Damper creates an appeasing sound and solid feel. Lastly, each iron has a face that’s optimized to increase COR so that the ball jumps off with more speed and flies farther.
Adding to the distance equation are stronger lofts and a progressive upright lie angle that promotes a draw ball flight. Say goodbye to those shots that short, right misses.
The Kalea Gold putter was inspired by our ever-popular Spider Tour S putter. This design is especially stable and forgiving. Its TruePath alignment makes it easy to line up.
The blue body is complemented by a gold trailing edge that provides an exquisite contrast with the green and ball at address.
You can choose from one of three golf bags to round out your Kalea Gold experience. The TaylorMade Cart Lite bag comes with a 14-way top that makes club organization easy. What’s even better is that it weighs just five pounds. This bag is available in either blue and white or white and grey.
If you prefer to walk, the blue and white TaylorMade FlexTech bag is lightweight, provides you plenty of storage, and comes with a four-way top.
