With the leaderboard at one point packed with four players at the top, Scottie made his run beginning on the Par 5 eighth hole. Scheffler made six birdies on holes 8 through 16 to take a commanding lead down the stretch and win by four strokes with a final score of 277 (66-72-71-68).
The shot of the tournament came on the ninth hole following a 358-yard drive with his Qi10 8,0° driver where Scheffler put his approach to inches to stretch his lead. On the famous 12th hole, Scheffler safely hit his P·7TW 9-iron safely onto the green to make par and then sealed the deal on the 14th hole via a 154-yard approach shot with his P·7TW to 2-feet to get to 10-under. On 16, Scheffler made a 9-foot putt for birdie and finished with two pars on 17 and 18 to secure the victory.
As if there weren't enough mind blowing numbers already, Scottie's career cumulative score at Augusta National is now 32-under par.
